Our strategy and approach for training is that we recognise that there are 3 groups who require training:

  • The Project team
  • The System Administration team (often contains members who were part of the project team)
  • The End Users

CopperMan Consulting uses a “train-the-trainer” approach to user education and roll-out, to ensure a smooth transfer of knowledge and ease user adoption.

"Train the Trainer"

“Train-the-trainer” involves a project team members being trained to ‘administrator/developer’ level. This team would then uses the skills and knowledge during the implementation, therefore furthering their education with hands-on configuration experience. Towards the end of the implementation phase this team would also be responsible for delivering end-user training and providing end-user support following the initial go-live.

All courses can be delivered on site and tailored to the specific needs of the client.

It should be noted that the training requirements for SAP BPC are typically much lower than with competitive solutions, due to the heavy use of Microsoft Excel as a user interface.  Customers have suggested that this represents a 30-50% saving in training costs compared with other solutions.
