Can your support organisation support the application? Many large organisations have Help Desk teams focussed on keeping their infrastructure running, but how do they support an application like SAP BPC? Can you train the entire Help Desk team in the necessary skills? If you do, is their knowledge up-to-date when a call comes to them? Where does you team turn when they don’t know the answer? What do you do if your key resource is not available?
CopperMan Consulting offers a Support service to help organisations to keep their SAP BPC application running and leaves the internal support organisation to focus on other issues. CopperMan’s unique model allows you to pass on support issues to our team of specialist support resources. We can: - Perform system administration tasks
- Diagnose errors, failures and bugs
- Liaise directly with SAP on your behalf
- Help with configuration issues
- And many more...
You can choose which tasks you ask CopperMan to perform, and we will access your applications to undertake the task, and keep you appraised of progress. For more information contact on:

Our strategy and approach for training is that we recognise that there are 3 groups who require training: - The Project team
- The System Administration team (often contains members who were part of the project team)
- The End Users
CopperMan Consulting uses a “train-the-trainer” approach to user education and roll-out, to ensure a smooth transfer of knowledge and ease user adoption. "Train the Trainer"
“Train-the-trainer” involves a project team members being trained to ‘administrator/developer’ level. This team would then uses the skills and knowledge during the implementation, therefore furthering their education with hands-on configuration experience. Towards the end of the implementation phase this team would also be responsible for delivering end-user training and providing end-user support following the initial go-live.
All courses can be delivered on site and tailored to the specific needs of the client.
It should be noted that the training requirements for SAP BPC are typically much lower than with competitive solutions, due to the heavy use of Microsoft Excel as a user interface. Customers have suggested that this represents a 30-50% saving in training costs compared with other solutions. |
